The Legend of Zelda Wii U

Whereas previous 3D Zelda games such give the illusion of a large world but are instead made up of smaller regions, the new Wii U title features one massive, sprawling playing space. The new-gen equivalent of Hyrule Field stretches out to mountains far into the distance, which Link can travel to without a loading screen. The only footage so far shows Link riding off into it, then later battling a large Octorok-like enemy with his bow from horseback, both stunning sequences made all the more impressive that the video is entirely in-game. Game director Eiji Aonuma has also said how he wants to lessen the frequency of Skyward Sword’s obtrusive tutorials, and even hinted at a multiplayer component.
