2K has released a new live-action trailer for The Bureau: XCOM Declassified.
It's 1962, the height of the Cold War, a tumultuous time politically and culturally for Americans, and something isn't quite right in the rural town of Pima, New Mexico. This video is the first in a series that will continue the story that began in The Burn Room, and follows Special Agent William Carter of The Bureau, a clandestine government organization created to defend America and erase the truth
The Bureau was announced as a first-person shooter in 2010, but was re-revealed in April 2013 as third-person tactical shooter.
Having recently gone hands-on with the game, we said in this The Bureau: XCOM Declassified preview: "So it's not quite classic XCOM, but nor is it a shallow, dumbed down FPS.
"The Bureau is a shooter with brains that rewards creative and tactical thinking. We've only played one story mission, but the game will be dense with content: an explorable HQ, research and development of new weapons and powers, side-missions, and a story affected by choice and consequence."
2K has confirmed a The Bureau: XCOM Declassified release date of August 20, 2013 in North America and August 23 internationally.
