It's a nerd thing. New consoles are on their way and, for some inexplicable reason, that makes pictures of game packaging a whole lot more interesting than it really should be.
It's like glimpsing into video game shops of the future. These are the plastic slabs that will adorn the walls of video games retailers for years to come. They're the cases of plastic we'll be queueing up for outside those in the freezing cold later this year. They're the packets of joy we'll be glaring excitedly at on the train/bus/car ride home before ripping them open and slamming the disc in our shiny new consoles.
We want them. But we can't have them yet.
