Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag is one of the most impressive-looking games at E3 this year, and CVG spoke with its associate producer Karl von der Luhe on the game's next-gen accomplishments.
Jean Guesdon, the creative director of the three-year project, recently called Black Flag "the most ambitious open-world game ever created", taking players to diverse locations from underwater shipwrecks to ancient temples.
Black Flag is scheduled for release from October 29 in North America and from November 1 across Europe on PC, PS3, Wii U, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Release dates for the PS4 and Xbox One editions have not yet been announced.
In the below video interview Karl von der Luhe discusses the scope of the pirate-themed open world, next-gen visuals, gameplay and second-screen integration using tablet devices.
