It's a free-to-play game developed by SCE Japan Studio and Q Entertainment, the studio behind games including Lumines and Child of Eden.

Geoff Keighley announced the title on the GameTrailers E3 All Access Live show, when he said more information about the game will be revealed during Sony's E3 press conference (image credit: PlayStation Lifestyle).

As well as detailing future plans for Vita and PS3, Sony has teased plans to show off the PS4 hardware for the first time at its E3 event.

We recently published a PlayStation E3 conference preview video in which team CVG discussed what Sony's likely to reveal this year, the strength of the company's position and the mistakes it has to avoid.

Sony's E3 press conference kicks off at 2am UK time (that's early Tuesday morning) and 6pm Pacific (that's Monday evening in the US), and you can watch it and read about it all live here.
