Square Enix will launch Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn this summer on PC and PS3.
Additionally, the publisher said today that the game is set to enter the third phase of closed beta testing in June.
This will introduce PS3 users to the cross-platform game for the very first time and open up the new city states of Ul'dah and Limsa Lominsa. You can apply to become a beta tester here.
Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is essentially version 2.0 of Final Fantasy XIV Online. The original game transitioned to the alpha version of A Realm Reborn in November, with the finished product scheduled for a simultaneous release on PS3 and PC in 2013.
