2K confirms no showroom floor presence at E3

Promises 'a lot of great news' in Spring

2K Games has confirmed it will not have a presence on the E3 showroom floor this year.

The publisher confirmed in a blog that while its excited about next-generation hardware, it's busy preparing announced titles and will not have a booth at E3 2013.

"We will have a lot of great news coming your way this spring," the post continued.

The publisher is currently working on Civilization V: Brave New World and the iOS edition of XCOM: Enemy Unknown. More Borderlands 2 content is also forthcoming, as well as WWE 2K14 and NBA 2K14.

Nintendo announced last week that it will not host a "large-scale" press conference at this year's E3.
