Naughty Dog game designer to appear at Sydney's Vivid Festival

Ricky Cambier to talk The Last of Us

Naughty Dog game designer Ricky Cambier will appear at the Vivid Sydney festival, it has been confirmed.

Cambier will host a panel entitled 'The making of a blockbuster game, The Last of Us', on Tuesday June 4 in Sydney at the Museum of Contemporary Art.

Cambier will appear as part of the festival's creative industries component Vivid Ideas. According to festival director Jess Scully, this will be the first time a representative from the video game industry has appeared at the festival.

"Being able to access global leading gaming talent like Ricky adds a new dyanmic to this year's line-up," she said.

"Naughty Dog has a rich history in developing critically acclaimed videogames and this panel will lift the lid on the leading creative work behind making such projects a reality."

Tickets for the event are available at the Vivid Sydney website.

The Last of Us will release June 14 exclusively for PS3.
