Soul Sacrifice sequel has been pitched to Sony - Inafune

Vita exclusive may have a future

Soul Sacrifice creator Keiji Inafune has confirmed that he's interested in developing a sequel for the Vita exclusive, and has even pitched it to Sony.

While the game has yet to release in the West, Inafune believes a sequel will help to drive Vita sales.

"I'm interested in making other console games for PlayStation, not just for the Vita," he told IGN. "Soul Sacrifice is something I specifically designed for Vita using the hardware's specific features.

"To drive Vita sales even more, I have an idea for a Soul Sacrifice sequel. I'm actually approaching [Sony] regarding this project."

Soul Sacrifice will release in on May 1 in Australia and Europe, and April 30 in the US. A pre-order package was detailed yesterday.
