Konami has signed a deal to include the Asian Football Confederation Champions League in future Pro Evolution Soccer games.
New series releases will feature a dedicated mode enabling users to control one of the 32 teams that compete in the tournament.
Shinji Hirano, president of Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH, said of the deal: "The acquisition of such a high-profile license such as the AFC Champions League is integral to our ambitious plans for the Pro Evolution Soccer series.
"We look forward to a long and successful partnership with the Asian Football Confederation, as we look to bring the passion and skill of the AFC Champions League to vivid life."
The PES series also holds the license for Europe's premier club competition, the UEFA Champions League.
Konami said last month that the next PES instalment will be powered by Kojima Productions' Fox Engine.
