The Ouya console now has over 10,000 registered developers.
That's according to Ouya's head of developer relations, Kellee Santiago, who told Joystiq of the milestone.
While no developers were specified, Santiago promised some relevant announcements in the "upcoming few weeks".
Ouya consoles began shipping to its Kickstarter backers in late March, but there are still several major updates in the works for the system.
Ouya CEO Julie Uhrman recently confirmed that number of significant updates are planned, including support for external storage for games, a "simpler" game install process, controller support for video players and more payment options for the console's digital store.
Final retail units will be available for purchase from June 4.
