Splinter Cell: Blacklist coming to Wii U, Amazon France suggests

New video also shows 5th Freedom Edition unboxing

While Splinter Cell: Blacklist has only been confirmed for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, fresh evidence suggests the game will also making an appearance on Wii U.


A Wii U version of the game was previously listed on the resumes of two Ubisoft developers, and now Amazon France is carrying a listing for the title on Nintendo's console.

The online retailer suggests Blacklist Wii U will launch alongside the previously confirmed versions of the game on the Splinter Cell: Blacklist release date of August 23, 2013 in the UK.

Meanwhile, Ubisoft has released an unboxing video for the Splinter Cell Blacklist: 5th Freedom Edition, which is exclusive to GAME in the UK and GameStop in Ireland. The publisher has detailed four Splinter Cell: Blacklist collector's editions for the UK, and a $169.99 North American Collector's Edition.
