Injustice: Gods Among Us gets iOS release

Sync with console version to unlock content

Injustice: Gods Among Us lands on PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii U later this month, but the iOS version of the DC brawler is ready and waiting for you to download.

The iOS version of Injustice: Gods Among Us has been developed by the same division of NetherRealm which brought Batman: Arkham City Lockdown to iOS.

The iOS version of Injustice is a mix of card collecting, and 3v3 combat. Collecting cards allows you to build your roster and enhance characters, with the ability to purchase these upgrades via microtransactions.

Registering a WBID allows you to sync the iOS game with the console version to unlock cross-platforms items, as well as share items between the mobile and console version.

Injustice: Gods Among Us on iOS is available now as a free download, with the game launching on Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii U on April 16 (US), April 17 (Australia), April 19 (Europe).

A trailer for Injustice: Gods Among Us was recently released to mark the launch of the playable demo.
