New Black Ops 2 DLC releasing April 16, supposed promotional material suggests

Four multiplayer maps and a fresh Zombies mode seemingly leaked

The next round of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 DLC will hit Xbox 360 on April 16, supposed promotional material for the game indicates.

A photo of the promotional material sent to MadAssGamers suggests the DLC will be called Uprising, and feature four new multiplayer maps (Vertigo, Magma, Encore and Studio) alongside a fresh Zombies mode called Mob of the Dead.

Activision declined to comment when contacted today about its upcoming Black Ops 2 DLC plans. The first of the game's four confirmed DLC packs, Revolution, launched in January.

Today's rumours back up previous reports claiming that coding found in the official Black Ops 2 website revealed the game's next DLC pack will be titled Uprising. They also suggested the game add-on will feature multiplayer maps including Studio and Vertigo alongside Mob of the Dead, which was described as "Treyarch's most terrifying Zombies experience to date".

It has been speculated that Mob of the Dead could act as a sequel to the original Black Ops' Call of the Dead Zombies DLC, in which players took control of Hollywood stars Sarah Michelle Gellar, Robert Englund, Michael Rooker and Danny Trejo as they attempted to keep super zombie George Romero and hordes of the undead at bay on a remote, ice-covered Siberian island.

Vertigo was also reportedly the name of a planned multiplayer map in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, but it was scrapped, possibly due to its similarities with Highrise.
