TellTale's Poker Night 2 stars Claptrap, Brock Samson and more

Sequel to be released late April

TellTale Games has announced Poker Night 2, a sequel to 2010's Poker Night at the Inventory.

The original, born from ruminations about what video characters get up to when not on the clock, starred Penny Arcade's Tycho, Max from the Sam & Max series of adventure games, The Heavy from Team Fortress 2 and Strong Bad from Homestar Runner.

TellTale has revealed Poker Night 2 will be equally star-studded, featuring Claptrap from Borderlands, Sam from Sam & Max, Ash Williams from the Evil Dead franchise and Brock Samson from Venture Bros.

Serving as dealer for the quartet is GLaDOS, Portal 2's jovially malevolent AI computer.

"It's great to revisit our roots after the success of The Walking Dead. People might not know that we have a strong history of humor in our games and players are going to find a lot of laughs in Poker Night 2," said Telltale CEO and co-founder Dan Connors.

"Poker Night 2 is another example of our ability to work with phenomenal partners and bring great characters to life in the gaming universe."

Poker Night 2 will be released late April on PSN, Xbox Live, PC and "other systems to be announced". Watch the trailer below.
