Ubisoft has released a new Watch Dogs gameplay trailer.
The footage lets you witness the actions of Aiden Pearce in the city of Chicago through the eyes of ctOS - the city-wide computer system to which he can illegally hack and control as law enforcement attempt to catch the vigilante.
The trailer also offers a tantalizing look at how the security cameras throughout the city are being used by a mystery third party to track Aiden's movements. What appears to be a Gamertag/profile name appears above one camera, suggesting the third party could be another player, and hinting at a unique multiplayer mechanic.
Ubisoft has already said that the online component of Watch Dogs will factor into both the multiplayer and single player aspects of the game, and that it'll be "all the time and anywhere".
Onlookers, it seems, have the choice of helping or hindering Aiden.
The trailer also confirms an 'autumn' release on current HD systems (Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U) and PC.
It makes no mention of next-gen versions, but Ubisoft has already confirmed that the game will be available for PS4 at launch. Sony has confirmed a PS4 release date of 'Holiday 2013'.
