BioShock Infinite is 'the highest rated game of 2013'

Praise rolls in for Irrational Games' latest as it hits stores

BioShock Infinite releases today as the highest rated game of 2013 to date.


The highly anticipated shooter sequel has received top review scores from numerous publications in the run-up to launch, and publisher 2K Games said today that it was the highest rated game of the year based on Metacritic average rankings across available platforms as of March 25, 2013.

The Xbox 360 version of the game currently boasts a 96 Metascore based on nine reviews, the PS3 edition a 95 Metascore following 13 reviews, and the PC release a 96 Metascore after 40 reviews.
