DuckTales Remastered will feature original cartoon voice actors

Capcom confirms 94-year-old Scrooge actor will feature

DuckTales Remastered will feature the voice talent from the original Disney cartoon series, a spokesperson for Capcom has confirmed.

Announced last week, DuckTales Remastered is an update to the widely loved 1989 NES title DuckTales. Capcom senior vice president Christian Svensson has confirmed that all the original voice actors from the show will feature in the new game.

"Scrooge's voice actor is now 94 years old but he still came into the studio and did his thing like a pro. The voice work really adds a lot to the package," Svensson wrote on the Capcom Unity forums.

Svensson also said the remake was a response to fan demand, and that the project has been in the works for over two years.

Capcom announced DuckTales Remastered last week. Developed by WayForward, it will be released for Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network and the Wii U eShop mid-year.
