Konami has revealed release dates and details for a number of upcoming Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance DLC packs.
The first DLC pack will introduce 30 new VR Missions designed to test the player's reactions, movement and fighting skills. It will launch in the US on March 12 and in Europe the following day.
It will be followed "soon after" by two story-based DLC chapters. Konami says: "Jetstream centres on the side-story of Sam, and features him as a playable character for the first time, while the Blade Wolf pack focuses on Raiden's enigmatic side-kick and its unique story.
"Both packs expand on the backgrounds of these two key characters, and provide origin stories that segue seamlessly into the main game."
All three add-ons will be available for PS3 and Xbox 360 in Europe. The VR Missions DLC is exclusive to PS3 in North America and will be priced at £1.99 or 240 Microsoft Points (£2.06).
In our Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance review we described Platinum's series spin-off as "an ultra-slick, suitably epic entry into the Metal Gear mythology, marred by annoying, fixable problems".
