Kojima extends GDC talk on Fox Engine, MGS: Ground Zeroes

An extra half an hour to show off the new engine and game

The GDC session being delivered by Kojima Productions on March 27 has been extended from 60 to 90 minutes, providing the company with extra time to show off its new Fox Engine alongside Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes.


The presentation, which will be delivered by Hideo Kojima and members of his development team, is entitled 'Photorealism through the eyes of a 'Fox' - The core of Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes'.

Kojima will be joined by technical director Junji Tago, lighting artist Masayuki Suzuki and CG art director Hideki Sasaki to share "the key components and unique methods used to create the visuals seen in Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes".

The title has been confirmed as a multiplatform release, although launch platforms haven't been specified.

Sony will also give a PS4 presentation at GDC. Entitled 'Overview of PS4 for Developers', it "will discuss the technology from a development standpoint as well as from the design side".
