Assassin's Creed 3: Washington Edition reportedly planned

Ubisoft also said to be prepping a Ghost Recon HD collection

Assassin's Creed 3: Washington Edition and Ghost Recon Anthology are both reportedly set for release this spring.

According to Siliconera, the former is expected to include AC3 and the three-part Assassin's Creed 3 DLC The Tyranny of King Washington, which offers players an alternate history of the American Revolution.

The latter will bundle together a collection of HD Ghost Recon titles. These could include 2006's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter, 2007's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 and 2012's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier.

Episode one of The Tyranny of King Washington DLC launched yesterday. We said of the game add-on in our Assassin's Creed 3: Tyranny of King Washington DLC review: "An entertaining story, a novel take on stealth, and some fun moments, but retreads a lot of old ground."

Ubisoft said earlier this month that Assassin's Creed 3 sales have topped 12 million units, representing an almost 70 per cent increase over Assassin's Creed Revelations at the same point of its lifecycle.
