Crysis 3 pre-orders up 35% on Crysis 2's

Multiplayer beta attracted three million users

EA said today that Crysis 3 pre-orders are 35 per cent higher than Crysis 2's total back in 2011.

The publisher announced Crysis 2 sales of three million units in July 2011, four months after the game released.

Crysis 3 pre-orders will net buyers a copy of the game's Hunter Edition, as well as a digital copy of the original Crysis free of charge.

EA also said today that three million gamers downloaded the Crysis 3 multiplayer beta, which ran until February 12.

The full list of Crysis 3 Achievements has been revealed ahead of the Crysis 3 release date of February 19 in the US and February 22 in Europe.

We recently had the chance to speak to Crytek CEO Cevat Yerli, who told us he believes "people will be astonished that next gen launch titles from other companies might not be much different from Crysis 3".
