Nintendo has announced a Fire Emblem Awakening release date of April 19 in Europe.
The turn-based strategy war game will be available at retail and from the 3DS eShop, Nintendo of Europe president Satoru Shibata said today.
A European exclusive, limited edition Fire Emblem Awakening 3DS XL bundle featuring a pre-installed copy of the game will also launch on April 19.
Nintendo released Fire Emblem Awakening in Japan last year and in the US earlier this month.
DLC such as new playable maps already released in other territories will also launch in Europe. The first maps will be available for free for a "limited time", while later ones will be offered at different price points.
"The content will include additional information about new class types, skills, playable characters, maps with new storylines and special maps that let players earn more experience points, gold or other rare items," Nintendo has said.
