Nintendo has announced plans to launch "large-scale" New Super Mario U DLC in the form of New Super Luigi U.
Noting that it will take some time to complete, Nintendo president Satoru Iwata described the project as similar in scale to the development of a regular game.
However, he confirmed that it's scheduled for release later this year on the Wii U eShop.
The DLC will change all of the game's existing 80+ challenge courses into new ones and won't star Mario, Iwata said.
