Avalanche Studios founder Christofer Sundberg has begun teasing an unannounced project seemingly set for release later this year.
"We're making awesome games at #avalanchestudios! This year will be awesome! #yearoftheavalanche," he said on Twitter, adding a link to the image below.
Last year Sundberg's LinkedIn profile revealed that Avalanche is working on two unannounced next-gen console games.
The first was described as an "open-world action game" based on "a well-known movie license". The studio has previously been rumoured to be working on a Mad max title.
The second project was described as a "new instalment in a very well-known game series", more specifically a "sandbox action game" to be published by Square Enix. The smart money is on Just Cause 3.
