Axl Rose versus Activision case dismissed

Judge rules in favour of Activision

Axl Rose's lawsuit against Activision Blizzard has been dismissed in the publisher's favour.

According to Rose, Activision Blizzard Inc allegedly reneged on a promise to not use images of Slash or material by Slash-related groups in Guitar Hero 3, which featured the Guns N Roses song Welcome to the Jungle.

According to the San Marino Tribune, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Charles Palmer dismissed Rose's claims, following a two-hour hearing of the lawsuit's contract claims. The dismissal comes after a similar case last year where Rose's claims of fraud and misrepresentation were also thrown out because they were filed too late.

Rose's lawsuit follows a storied feud between former members of Guns N Roses.
