Ratchet and Clank: Full Frontal Assault Vita delayed

Sony offering free download of Ratchet and Clank: Deadlocked to compensate

Sony has delayed the Vita Ratchet and Clank: Full Frontal Assault release date to spring 2013.

While the co-op platformer was released on PS3 in November 2012, it recently missed its planned January 2013 Vita release window.

"Our friends at Tin Giant have been working night and day to bring Insomniac's PS3 game to the PS Vita system and to provide our fans with a great game," Greg Phillips, an SCEA producer, said on the PlayStation Blog.

"While the original delay has helped us make the game better, we still need more time to bring the game up to the standards expected by our fans."

Sony has promised those that purchased the PS3 version with the intention of taking advantage of the Vita Cross Buy promotion will be compensated with a free download of Ratchet & Clank: Deadlocked for the PS3. The giveaway will become available when Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault releases on Vita.
