DmC Devil May Cry DLC: Vergil's Downfall expansion arriving in late February

After the Costume pack and Bloody Palace mode

Capcom will release DmC Devil May Cry DLC expansion Vergil's Downfall in late February.

Dante's twin brother's own downloadable chapter will include a new storyline, fresh weapons and combos, unique enemies and four difficulty levels.

Vergil's Downfall will be priced at £7.29 / €8.99 / $8.99 / 720 MS Points (£6.17). Pre-order customers from GameStop (US) or EBGames (Canada) will get the content for free, but no details on European pre-order initiatives have been released.

Before then, DmC players can look forward to the alternate costume pack, which hits consoles at the end of January, and the free Bloody Palace challenge mode, which will arrive alongside a "near future" title update.

DmC ended FIFA 13's run at the top of the UK all formats chart earlier this week. The Ninja Theory developed series reboot, which we praised in our DmC Devil May Cry review, became Capcom's first all formats No.1 since 2009's Resident Evil 5, despite the new release selling just over a third of what Devil May Cry 4 managed at launch in February 2008.
