PlayStation Store patch improves load times, increases stability - report

Enjoy a better browsing experience on the PS3 digital marketplace

Sony has released a new PlayStation Store patch which reportedly improves the speed of load times and reduces stability issues.

According to El33tonline, the patch weighs in at 26MB and addresses some of the more common complaints about the PS3's digital marketplace, which was redesigned last October.

The site says the patch appears to introduce a number of performance improvements, including an "appreciably snappier" browsing experience and a distinct lack of stability-related error messages.

Sony is to launch a PlayStation Network web store in the US later this month following a similar move in Europe in December.
