PSN web store launching this month in the US

Sony says PS Store redesign has led to significant growth

Sony is to launch a PlayStation Network web store in the US later this month following a similar move in Europe in December.

It'll allow users to remotely browse and purchase PlayStation titles, and eventually it'll enable them to have content automatically downloaded to their PS3, Sony Network Entertainment COO Shawn Layden told CNET.

Layden also reportedly said that the recent PlayStation Store redesign has resulted in "double-digit growth in the US and Europe", presumably in terms of usage.
