Metal Gear Rising PS3 headed to Japan

Unique hardware confirmed for Raiden's next starring role

Sony and Konami will release a special Metal Gear Rising Revengeance PS3 in February.

The console itself is the latest slim model with a blue coloured strip across the ridge-surface on the top of the machine, with a 250GB hard drive tucked inside. It comes with a dark blue see-through controller and the game, and some bonus download tidbits including a "Cyborg Ninja" Body.

It'll go on sale in Japan alongside the game in February for 31,960 (£242, $390), according to the official Japanese site. There was no mention of an overseas release.

This comes after today's announcement of a playable demo and new gameplay footage, both of which can be found through the link.
