Gravity Rush 2 hinted by director

Game designer takes to Twitter to tease "secret" follow-up

Gravity Rush director Keiichiro Toyama has hinted at a sequel to this year's sky-flipping PS Vita action adventure.

Responding to fans on Twitter (translated by Gematsu), Toyama wrote, "I'll do my best on the sequel". Asked for clarification if that means that a follow-up is in development, the director responded: "It's a secret."

Gravity Rush first released on PS Vita this February in Japan, followed by launches in North America and Europe four months later.

The game's premise, in Sony's words, has you playing as Kat as she sets out "to stop the world from disintegrating around you, to piece together your lost memories, and to uncover the truth behind it all. There is a huge open world to explore and this is only amplified by Kat's ability to control the forces of gravity."
