Metal Gear creator Hideo Kojima told PAX attendees that he would love to make a game starring The Boss.
Fans will know The Boss as Naked Snake's (Big Boss) mentor from Metal Gear Solid 3, who founded the Cobra unit with all the bosses from that game - The Pain, The Fear, The End, The Fury and The Sorrow - during World War II.
When asked if more spin-offs in a similar vein to Metal Gear Rising Revengeance could come starring different MGS characters, Kojima replied: "I'm not a huge fan of spin-offs, so it's hard to say at this point.
"We've talked previously about a game featuring The Boss as a main character. This is something I'd really love to make," he added (via Eurogamer).
This isn't the first time Kojima has spoken of giving The Boss her own game, having previously considered her for a starring role in Metal Gear Solid 5. In a documentary detailing the development of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, Kojima hinted, "I had several ideas for a game featuring The Boss and the Cobra Unit during the invasion of Normandy."
Kojima and team revealed its latest new game last week, Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes, along with an awesome 10 minute demo video.
