Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel - First gameplay trailer

Visceral's co-op shooter set for release in March 2013

EA has released the first gameplay trailer for Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel.

Announced last week and set for release on Xbox 360 and PS3 in March 2013, the third instalment in the co-op action series is in development at Dead Space 3 developer Visceral.

The new stars of the game are Alpha and Bravo, employees of paramilitary outfit Tactical Worldwide Operations, who find themselves caught up in a Mexican drug war.

Running on Battlefield 3's Frostbite 2 engine, Devil's Cartel promises to feature a "more intense, mature and grittier tone" than its predecessors (and more bullets, from the looks of it).
