Respawn's game a no-show at E3

Former CoD studio will attend, but won't share

If you were hoping to see what the former Call of Duty guys at Respawn have been up to at E3 this year, you're in for a disappointment.

Respawn community manager Abbie Heppe has told Joystiq that while members of the team will be present at the LA show next month, they won't be pulling back the veil on its mysterious new game.

"Some of us will be present at E3, but we won't be showing anything or doing any press related to the game," said Heppe.

Respawn, for those who don't know, is the studio set up by Infinity Ward founders Jason West and Vince Zampella after their Activision fall out.

Respawn is currently developing a new game under a new IP for EA, but with the exception of a blurry image or two, very little has been revealed.

EA Games Label president Frank Gibeau has previously said Respawn's new project is a shooter that is "sci-fi oriented" and will allow the publisher to "compete with things like Gears and Halo".
