Metal Gear Solid 5 release tipped for fiscal 2014

Japanese analysts expect launch between April 2013 and March 2014

Analysts at Japanese investment company Nomura Securities have said they expect Metal Gear Solid 5 to be released during Konami's fiscal year 2014.

In a recent report (via Andriasang), Nomura forecast operating earnings for Konami of 52 billion yen (£424 million) in fiscal year 2013, and said the total could rise 15 percent during fiscal year 2014 - which runs from April 2013 to March 2014 - thanks to the expected release of Metal Gear Solid 5.

Last year, Metal Gear creator Hideo Kojima said Kojima Productions would "probably have to make" Metal Gear Solid 5 "at some point".
He later commented that he "wanted to end it at every step along the way," but would like to keep on meeting fan demands.
