The Respawn concept artist who said his work would be under wraps until 2015, has clarified his statement saying he actually has no real information on the release date for the studio's first project.
Develop reported yesterday that Iain McCaig had said "I'm having the most fun working with Respawn Entertainment right now, and I hate that I can't show you guys what I'm doing there until 2015."
However McCaig has since said that that was just a wild guess.
"2015 was just my wildest guess as to when I would be able to show my artwork, which is usually 12 months or more after release," he explained.
"I have no real information on the release date of the game."
Not that we'd want to use the wild guess to make another prediction about the Respawn title's release date, but it sounds like the game could be closer to a 2013/14 release than anything.
